It’s safe to say that 2020 has not gone to plan for many of us. The last few months have been interesting, to say the least. As we have all been figuring out how to handle the current global issues, I have inadvertently taken some time off to regroup and refocus.
Queensland has started opening up again, with kids back at school, and adults returning to work at the office. Queensland Health has permitted therapists of my qualification to return to treating clients and assisting with health issues according to our level of training. As such, I will now be accepting clients again from the start of June.
I know some people may still have concerns about physical therapy at this point in time, and I hope I am able to ease your concerns:
- I have completed training with my industry association and with QLD Health on how to handle specific infection control issues in regards to COVID-19
- I have updated my infection control policy, now available for viewing here
- I will be spacing out clients to allow myself time between appointments to thoroughly clean surfaces and door handles.
- I will be working solely from Mansfield in this time, to reduce the amount of individuals I personally am exposed to and thus reduce the risk of transference between clients.
To ensure the safety and health of all clients in the clinic, I must kindly request that if you have been overseas, or feeling unwell in the last month, if you could please schedule your appointment until after such time, so as to ensure the health and safety of all others in the clinic, including myself.
I will maintain this set up until the end of the year, as the future is still uncertain in regards to everything going on, and I will update further down the track as to my plans after all of this is over.
As a healthcare professional, I care deeply about the overall health of my clients. I already value my hygiene procedures very highly, and I have added additional measures to ensure everything is clean and decontaminated between clients, such as wiping door handles and surfaces. But I also care about the issues that I assist clients with, which is why I’m taking the chance of reopening to continue to assist my clients with their chronic health issues, such as lower back pain, tension in neck and shoulders, posture concerns, and other musculoskeletal issues.
As well as this, I value holistic health, which is why I will be offering my relaxation massages for $15 off, as we all work to return to wellness. I believe relaxation massage is incredibly beneficial to mental wellbeing, which is why I value this service so highly.
I look forward to welcoming you back to my clinic, or meeting you for the first time to assist with your healthcare needs. Call now or book online to secure your appointment today.
